Dr. Ram Banin, former President and CEO of TCSI Corporation and currently Principal of Banin Associates, has joined the Advisory Board of eBIZ.mobility

In his position as CEO of TCSI, Banin moved the company from a diversified custom software house to a leading supplier of software applications to the telecom industry. As general manager of TCSI's Telecom and Object Software Groups he tripled revenues to over $50 million a year.
Banin's clients in the US and Israel include Amdocs, Jungo, Estimotion, Federation Probix and Prompt2U. He has been instrumental in positioning, launching and selling their products, and the products of many Silicon Valley companies in the US and world markets.
Banin has extensive experience in the global high tech arena. In the early 1970's he was involved in the development and deployment of the Arpanet, which is regarded as the "Grandfather" of today's Internet. In 1980 he co-founded Daisy Systems, which heralded the new industry of Electronic Design Automation (EDA). Daisy grew to $122 million in four years and was a profitable public company.
Banin holds a Ph.D. and M.A. in computer science from the University of California, Berkeley, as well as a M.Sc. in Nuclear Physics from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem.
