Federated Payment
RMG Payment Gateway

Federated Payment™ System

eBIZ.mobility's Federated Payment™ technology provides secure, efficient processing of on-line digital payment (micropayments and macropayments). By providing the information needed to perform risk assessment and payment authorization on a per-transaction basis in real-time, and then processing payment from subscribers' Telco or ISP accounts, our Federated Payment System offers a cost competitive payment processing alternative to content providers and on-line merchants.

The Federated Payment System employs a server for deployment at the consumer's trusted billing entity (such as the Telco or Service Provider), as well as a proxy for installation at content providers and on-line merchants with which they can offer Federated Payment as an additional valid payment method.

Federated Payment interfaces on top of existing billing and e-commerce infrastructure at Telcos and ISPs. The Federated Payment Server can interface to any content delivery platform, as well as any billing and e-payment platforms to enable automatic charging for off-portal on-line content. With clearing and settlement as well, the Federated Payment System does not require the Telco or ISP to change any of its existing clearing and settlement procedures or providers. The Federated Payment System easily interfaces to inter-carrier clearing providers and systems.

Transaction and authorization requests for a consumer are passed between a Federated Payment Proxy wherever in the world it may be and the Federated Payment Server of the customer's trusted billing provider wherever in the world they may be. The Federated Payment Server, over a secure signaling channel, confirms the subscriber's financial ability to make the transaction with the subscriber's Federated Payment Provider- in this case the ITSP. If the consumer's ITSP approves the transaction, the purchase will go through.

The Federated Payment System can be deployed with a variety of access channels, authentication and authorization rules, and payment models. The Federated Payment Systems leverages and extends the operator and media companies existing infrastructure, eliminating the need to replace back-end systems.
